Position Summary:

We are in search of a dynamic, resourceful, and highly skilled Project Manager to become an integral part of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the successful execution of comprehensive projects, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, customer satisfaction, cost management, scheduling, quality assurance, and performance metrics.
  • Manage overall project effectiveness, focusing on scope, safety, quality, timelines, innovation, budget, and client satisfaction.
  • Possess a solid understanding of Lean methodologies and Six Sigma principles.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in project management tools and techniques, with strong analytical and organizational capabilities to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Utilize scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project) to create and maintain project timelines.
  • Lead and coordinate a team to fulfill detailed project schedules across all departments.
  • Administer project budgets, identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to maintain financial targets.
  • Act as the project overseer, utilizing various methods to monitor schedule and budget performance, including:
    • Conducting team meetings to verify schedule status.
    • Tracking component shortages and collaborating with procurement to resolve issues.
    • Monitoring progress on the assembly floor.
    • Ensuring compliance with processes and procedures across departments.
    • Guaranteeing that machines are completed and addressing known issues before deployment.
  • Manage assembly operations for assigned projects, including:
    • Collaborating with team leaders to devise assembly plans.
    • Coordinating logistics and resources with assembly management.
    • Defining necessary resources and their timing.
    • Creating daily and weekly plans to prepare for upcoming tasks.
    • Resolving any issues that may affect project plans.
    • Monitoring resource allocation in accordance with project timelines.
  • Facilitate essential team meetings, including:
    • Weekly project team meetings.
    • Engineering design review sessions.
    • Assembly preparation discussions.
    • Ready to Ship briefings.
    • Installation preparation gatherings.
    • Post-project reviews (lessons learned).
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, responsible for:
    • Communicating project status.
    • Resolving outstanding issues or conflicts.
    • Facilitating information exchange between stakeholders.
    • Monitoring activities to prevent scope changes.
    • Addressing commercial change requests.
    • Ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
  • Report project status and performance metrics to management and stakeholders as required.
  • Exhibit a commitment to Continuous Improvement, supporting all initiatives related to quality, safety, productivity, and performance enhancement.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as necessary to engage with clients.
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet project demands.

Physical Demands:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and utilizing a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Capability to navigate various departments within Ingersoll's facilities.
