Annual salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000, with numerous bonus opportunities and potential for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide a group of restaurants by partnering with general managers to surpass organizational benchmarks in quality, service, cleanliness, and value.
  • Ensure that all assigned locations achieve financial goals, including sales, food costs, labor, and other controllable profit and loss areas.
  • Maintain BFR systems and routines, providing guidance and coaching to general managers as necessary.
  • Identify operational challenges and supply resources to overcome these hurdles and foster business growth.
  • Act as a mentor to general managers, ensuring ongoing communication and achievement of objectives.
  • Recognize and nurture talented employees with potential for growth, supporting general managers in their training and development efforts.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of the role, from personal development to guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively across the organization, showcasing strong written and verbal skills.
  • Exhibit excellent time management, organizational, and critical thinking abilities, modeling these skills for restaurant management teams.
  • Adhere to the people standards and policies outlined in the BFR Employee Handbooks.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant municipal, county, state, and federal regulations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Manage routine calendar tasks associated with restaurant visits and regular reporting.
  • Handle email communications professionally and promptly.
  • Conduct monthly food safety and cash audits for each restaurant.
  • Allocate time for personal development regularly.
  • Ensure operations-focused visits and conduct Business Results Days at each location.
  • Facilitate monthly patch meetings and conduct annual performance reviews.
  • Comply with all company policies regarding credit card usage and invoice management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a general manager in a fast-paced, high-volume QSR or quick casual environment.
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of experience as an operations supervisor overseeing multiple locations in a similar environment.
  • Hamburger University diploma is required for former or relocating McDonald's general managers.
  • Proven track record in driving sales, guest counts, and enhancing guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to teach and train alongside your team, demonstrating leadership by example.
  • Open availability and flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the restaurant.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in P.O.S. systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

Additional Skills:

Proficiency in technology, including various restaurant and guest-facing systems, as well as basic MS Office and email applications.

Standards of Conduct:

  • Area Operations Leaders must exemplify integrity and ethical behavior, setting the standard for their teams.
  • They must represent BFR ethically in all communications with guests, community members, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Support and model all BFR policies and expectations as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
