Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Icahn Automotive Group LLC. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing tire and automotive services, while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications, including brake and hydraulic, exhaust, basic electrical, cooling system, suspension and alignment, and perform all maintenance services.
  • Perform job duties of all lower job descriptions, including Mechanic and General Service Technician.
  • Effectively communicate technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals, including employees and customers.
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through formal training sessions to stay up-to-date with rapidly changing automotive technology.
  • Assist fellow technicians and mechanics in performing technical activities.
  • Keep store management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair experience.
  • 2 or more ASE certifications are preferred for this position (A4 Steering and Suspension A5 Brakes).
  • Section 609 certification is preferred.
  • State Inspection license if applicable.
  • A high level of motivation, energy, and a customer-focused attitude.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
  • Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
