Job Overview

Position: Production Associate

Are you prepared to play an essential role in a reputable company's manufacturing operations? We are looking for committed individuals to become part of a Syracuse, NY based team, ensuring that products adhere to the highest quality standards. This is a temporary position anticipated to last around 3 months.

Work Schedule

Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Friday: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $16.20

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute cleaning and packing duties within the Production division.
  • Perform visual inspections, sorting, and packaging of orders according to customer requirements.
  • Maintain punctuality and comply with company attendance regulations.
  • Accurately log job start and completion times.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors to resolve quality concerns and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Conduct secondary inspections as instructed by the Plant Manager or Quality Control Department.
  • Adhere to inventory rotation practices and uphold housekeeping standards.
  • Prioritize safety measures and follow security protocols.
  • Aim to meet or surpass departmental efficiency and productivity goals.
  • Participate in cross-training and assist in other departments to achieve production deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality.
  • Familiarity with computer-based environments and business software.
  • Basic mathematical and language skills.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in continuous manual tasks such as standing, walking, reaching, bending, pulling, and lifting.
  • Ability to distinguish colors and maintain clear close vision.
