As a Power Generation Equipment Specialist, you will:

  1. Execute comprehensive tasks to install, service, and repair steam boilers, air compressors, and intricate electrical systems.
  2. Manage automatic boiler controls, pumps, motors, and power generation apparatus, ensuring optimal functionality.
  3. Conduct essential chemical analyses to maintain boiler integrity and associated machinery.
  4. Dismantle complex units to assess issues, execute repairs or replacements, and reassemble efficiently.
  5. Utilize standard hand tools and pipe fitting equipment for pipe manipulation, including bending, threading, and cutting.
  6. Employ a torch for soldering copper joints as necessary.
  7. Oversee the installation and upkeep of high-pressure steam systems across the facility, including steam lines and associated components.
  8. Diagnose and troubleshoot powerhouse machinery to pinpoint issues and repair control systems.
  9. Interpret mechanical schematics and adhere to electrical and plumbing blueprints.
  10. Input and modify scheduling data utilizing the energy management platform.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Powerhouse Technician.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting.

Skills and Certifications:

  • Proficiency in Boiler operations.
  • Knowledge of Generator systems.
