Key Responsibilities:
As a Power Generation Equipment Specialist, you will:
- Execute comprehensive tasks to install, service, and repair steam boilers, air compressors, and intricate electrical systems.
- Manage automatic boiler controls, pumps, motors, and power generation apparatus, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Conduct essential chemical analyses to maintain boiler integrity and associated machinery.
- Dismantle complex units to assess issues, execute repairs or replacements, and reassemble efficiently.
- Utilize standard hand tools and pipe fitting equipment for pipe manipulation, including bending, threading, and cutting.
- Employ a torch for soldering copper joints as necessary.
- Oversee the installation and upkeep of high-pressure steam systems across the facility, including steam lines and associated components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot powerhouse machinery to pinpoint issues and repair control systems.
- Interpret mechanical schematics and adhere to electrical and plumbing blueprints.
- Input and modify scheduling data utilizing the energy management platform.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Powerhouse Technician.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing setting.
Skills and Certifications:
- Proficiency in Boiler operations.
- Knowledge of Generator systems.
