Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Executive to provide support in project management, content development, media relations, partner engagement, digital and social media, and more for programs and campaigns with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. As part of our team, you will collaborate with creative, writing, and communications staff to deliver quality services to our federal clients.
Responsibilities- Support project coordination and tracking of timelines and deliverables.
- Provide project management support, including note-taking, schedule coordination, monthly status reports, assistance with invoicing, and coordination with the Finance and Accounting Team.
- Prepare client-facing materials and documentation, including plans, presentations, memos, meeting notes, and reports.
- Support communications projects in content and creative development, stakeholder engagement and outreach, public relations, and social media.
- Contribute to strategic communications and campaign plans.
- Develop designed materials and content, including templates, social graphics, brochures, FAQs, PowerPoint slides, and website copy.
- Support media relations activities, including building media lists and tracking coverage.
- Provide digital marketing support, including content calendars, social media messages, eblasts, and analytics reports.
- Support partnership engagement, including researching potential partners and providing logistics support.
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years of experience in project management support and marketing strategy/strategic planning.
- Experience supporting various facets of communications and marketing plans, including strategy development, media relations, social media marketing, and project management.
- Excellent organization, writing, editing, and oral communication skills.
- Basic project management skills.
- Strong quality control, proof-reading, and written communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship and consent to a full background check due to federal contract requirements.
- Preferred:
- Previous agency experience.
- Background or interest in public health.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams.
