Job Summary

ValidaTek is seeking a highly skilled Rapid Response Senior Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Rapid Response Team, you will be responsible for designing, architecting, and optimizing network frameworks to support large DoD IT infrastructure programs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all security incidents and breaches, leading the response and overseeing troubleshooting and resolution to address the issue.
  • Focus on the prevention and safeguarding against future breaches and incidents, keeping current on best practices and making recommendations to upgrade systems and processes.
  • Oversee and plan system configuration, utilizing an in-depth knowledge of best practices and protocols necessary to maintain and optimize network configuration and security.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a primary role operating, troubleshooting, installing network routers and switches, designing, architecting routed and switched networks, and at least 3+ years in a DoD IT environment.
  • Proven performance as a subject matter expert in network configuration that emphasizes optimization and system security.
  • At least one nationally recognized certification for senior network administrators/engineers/architects tied to the proposed solution's routers and switches.
  • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III certification in accordance with DoD M.
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering or Equivalent is required; a master's degree is preferred.

ValidaTek offers a competitive salary range of $95,577.60/Yr. to $159,296.00/Yr., based on experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.
