Job Title: Rapid Action Consultant - Accounting and Audit Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Rapid Action Consultant to join our team at Morgan Business Consulting, LLC. As a key member of our Environmental & Disposal cross-functional Accounting Action Team (AAT), you will provide rapid response and development of plans to assess and implement corrective action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quickly assess situations, develop plans, and align resources to take effective action
  • Unite personnel, resources, and information to achieve goals faster
  • Design and implement audit risk corrective action plans
  • Travel domestically and internationally, providing in-person support at MBC and client sites

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management, or relevant certifications (CPA, CISA, PMP, CGFM, CDFM)
  • 4 years of experience with federal financial management and 2 years of federal accounting
  • Ability to perform risk assessments and identify internal controls
  • Knowledge of federal accounting standards (FASAB) and GAAP
  • Experience designing and implementing corrective actions to address audit risks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
