Position Summary:
The Senior Technology Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing, specifying, designing, documenting, testing, and delivering operational technology systems and processes tailored to meet manufacturing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Redefines and optimizes operational technology processes using suitable methodologies and tools, collaborating with business and manufacturing stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Provides consultation on the design, implementation, operation, monitoring, and support of operational technology systems.
- Ensures the quality of operational technology systems by developing and executing testing specifications and implementing quality assurance plans.
- Facilitates the implementation of operational technology systems by producing and sharing comprehensive documentation and presentations.
- Collaborates with IT and Operations management to align project priorities with key business objectives, minimizing disruptions to manufacturing.
- Oversees the lifecycle management of manufacturing computer systems and partners with manufacturing teams to establish retirement strategies.
- Leads initiatives focused on enhancing cybersecurity measures.
- Manages desktop and embedded system administration tasks.
- Creates and delivers effective training materials to assist users in system operations.
- Addresses issues related to the use of implemented systems or processes by collaborating with system or process owners and project teams to develop viable solutions.
- Supports the development of operational technology standards, leading projects based on these standards, and coordinating compliance activities.
- Defines and communicates project roles and responsibilities clearly.
- Manages process improvement initiatives using fundamental project management techniques.
- Handles changes in project scope and ensures adherence to schedules.
- Engages in continuous improvement efforts and may lead multiple project activities concurrently, working with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related discipline (e.g., computer science, engineering, information technology) with 3-5 years of relevant experience in operational technology systems and manufacturing processes; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience in analyzing, designing, and delivering operational technology systems and processes for manufacturing.
• Proficiency in developing testing specifications and executing quality plans for operational technology systems.
• Strong skills in creating clear documentation and presentations for operational technology systems.
• Experience in leading cybersecurity initiatives and managing desktop/embedded system administration.
• Ability to manage process improvement projects, including scope changes and schedule adherence.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory.
• Knowledge and experience with ITMS, Acronis, Industrial Control Systems, SCADA systems, automated manufacturing, and active directory management.
• Experience in developing processes and procedures along with the associated documentation.
• Background in cybersecurity protection.
• Experience with Acronis backup solutions.
