POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of auction settlement payments, while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guarantee that all auction settlement proceeds are processed accurately and documented appropriately.
- Drive innovation and improvements in auction settlement processes.
- Prepare and manage auction settlement documentation and payments with precision.
- Establish and maintain consignment files accurately.
- Conduct thorough reviews of consignor statements against legal agreements and financial documentation.
- Communicate effectively with executives, colleagues, and clients to resolve inquiries.
- Ensure all consignor documentation is current and accurate.
- Handle multiple auctions and categories simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Assist consignors with inquiries regarding auction proceeds.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
A high school diploma is required; completion of accounting coursework is advantageous.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach are essential.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Candidates should be prepared for extended periods of computer use and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
