Liability Claims Specialist

At Jobot, we're seeking a highly skilled Liability Claims Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you'll be responsible for managing and resolving complex liability claims in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and resolve complex liability claims, including property casualty claims, in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Analyze and evaluate claim details to determine the extent of the company's liability.
  • Negotiate settlements with claimants or their legal representatives.
  • Participate in mediations and litigations as needed.
  • Work closely with the legal team to prepare for any potential litigation.
  • Coordinate with the risk management team to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date claim files, including all relevant documentation and correspondence.
  • Stay current on relevant laws and regulations related to liability claims.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders involved in the claims process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Risk Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Claims Liability Specialist, with a specific focus on property casualty claims.
  • Proven experience in risk management and litigation.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience with mediation.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and claims management software.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to liability claims.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
