Job Overview: The role involves preparing and presenting appetizing dishes across various dining venues, kitchens, and event settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to safety standards to ensure a secure atmosphere for both guests and staff. Prepare culinary items according to established recipes to maintain quality consistency, utilizing only premium ingredients. Oversee the storage of products, ensuring freshness and high quality. Maintain cleanliness in all food storage and preparation areas. Manage daily inventory requests for food production. Apply mathematical skills to accurately follow recipes. Keep all kitchen tools and equipment clean and well-maintained. Use fresh, high-quality ingredients in meal preparation. Exhibit proficiency in knife skills and kitchen operations. Have a fundamental understanding of kitchen equipment and communicate effectively in English. Show eagerness to learn and develop as a culinary professional. Communicate clearly in English, both orally and in writing. Recognize various cooking methods for meats and seafood. Understand kitchen cleaning agents and regional American cuisine. Collaborate effectively with fellow culinary team members.

Equipment Utilized:

Cooking tools, pots, pans, dishware, silverware, glassware, knives, ovens, grills, microwaves, and other kitchen appliances.

Work Environment:

Work within the hotel, including restaurant and kitchen spaces, exposed to varying temperatures and humidity levels. Safely handle food and beverage cleaning agents. Interact with food items and beverages.

Qualifications:

Positions for Cook 1 & 2 require prior culinary experience in a commercial kitchen. The Cook 3 role welcomes candidates with kitchen experience, though it is not mandatory. A valid ServSafe certification is preferred.
