About the Job

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a per diem SLP, you will have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work with a variety of clients in the Shelby, North Carolina area.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in adult and geriatric patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client needs and goals.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients in their homes, promoting independence and improving communication skills.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
  • Certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association.
  • Solid computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
