Job Summary

We are a Houston-based company, Reach for Speech Language Services, seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to students in the prestigious Katy ISD school district.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions to promote effective communication skills.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, to support academic and social success.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and support for students' overall success.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Stay current on best practices, research, and trends in speech-language pathology to provide high-quality services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to special education services.
