As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the developmental progress of infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with Families: Work closely with families to identify children with disabilities or developmental delays and facilitate assessments to ensure they receive the necessary support.
  • Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs): Develop, implement, and monitor IFSPs for children with disabilities, ensuring their unique needs are met and their progress is tracked.
  • Staff Training and Support: Provide guidance and training to staff on best practices for working with children with diverse needs, promoting an inclusive learning environment.
  • Community Partnerships: Coordinate with community agencies and service providers to ensure comprehensive support services are available to families.
  • Training and Professional Development: Conduct regular training sessions for educators on inclusive teaching strategies and disability awareness, promoting a culture of inclusivity.
  • Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations concerning early childhood education and special education services, maintaining accurate records of assessments, meetings, services provided, and outcomes for children with disabilities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience working with preschool-aged children with disabilities.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of early intervention strategies and special education laws, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people, including parents and educators.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, ability to conduct assessments and interpret results effectively.
