Key Responsibilities

Position Overview:

The Senior Integration Architect plays a pivotal role in providing comprehensive support for Enterprise Integration and Modernization initiatives. This includes ongoing efforts related to the Analytic and Exploitation Environment, Foundation GEOINT Mission, and various modernization projects across IT Infrastructure and GEOINT systems. The role involves collaborating with government entities and managing engineering activities across different organizational sectors to facilitate system development and enhancements. The Senior Architect is responsible for orchestrating enterprise-level planning for engineering and integration tasks while addressing any arising challenges. They work closely with Government Office/Division Chiefs to prioritize tasks and allocate the necessary resources effectively.

Core Duties:

  • Assist Government Office/Division Chiefs in evaluating, documenting, and monitoring new engineering requirements while facilitating technical exchange meetings (TEMs) to keep both Government and Contractor teams informed about systems engineering and integration efforts.
  • Support resource planning, coordination, and analytical tasks for the Government.
  • Coordinate project timelines to align with defined strategic objectives.
  • Plan and oversee major systems engineering Program Reviews and Control Gate Reviews, including organizing meetings and preparing presentations.
  • Assist in drafting documents, records, forms, reports, and plans related to systems engineering and integration activities.
  • Provide oversight for change management, ensuring resource alignment, identifying priority shifts, and recognizing required skillsets.
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related STEM field, or 18 years of relevant experience as a Lead Integrator in lieu of a degree.
  • 18 years of experience in the engineering, design, and analysis of IT or related systems, encompassing all phases of design, development, analysis, documentation, and the establishment of standards and guidelines for tasks performed.
  • 18 years of professional experience in government or industry within the DoD/IC Acquisition Process or PPBES.
  • Proficient understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI clearance and successfully pass a polygraph examination.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering, including processes, tools, and languages.
  • Certification in Software Development Framework.
  • INCOSE Expert System Engineering Professional (ESEP) certification.

Salary Range$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
