Key Responsibilities

In the Space and Intelligence sector, there is a pressing requirement for a qualified Senior Solutions Architect Lead to facilitate growth within the National Mission Space community. This role offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote work with the opportunity to engage at various locations, while also allowing for travel to support both classified and unclassified solution initiatives. As a Senior Solutions Architect Lead, you will take charge of crafting innovative and economically viable solutions tailored to mission requirements, which may encompass ground control, launch operations, systems engineering, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and infrastructure solutions that meet the operational and technological demands of our clients, all while contributing to business expansion.

Primary Duties:

  • The Senior Solutions Architect Lead is tasked with guiding teams of solution experts and technical specialists in the formulation of integrated, cost-efficient solutions for inclusion in proposal submissions that fulfill client requirements and enhance competitive positioning.
  • This role includes overseeing the development and documentation of the technical solution, as well as participating in the cost estimation process for incorporation into proposals for government clients. Effective collaboration with business leaders to design the solution and finalize key parameters prior to cost analysis is essential.
  • The Senior Solutions Architect Lead will spearhead the technical solution development, engage in competitive costing, and align business cases with the proposal requirements of government clients.
  • Collaboration with business development, delivery accounts, and corporate offerings teams is crucial to define the overall solution strategy and approach, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and requirements while integrating industry insights with extensive technical knowledge.
  • Establishing robust relationships with partners is vital to drive high-quality solutions and compelling value propositions.
  • This role requires the ability to clearly articulate all aspects of the solution during governance reviews with senior management, assessing solution risks and devising strategies to mitigate those risks.
Qualifications

Essential:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience with a BS/BA or 8 years with an MS/MA; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Must demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, engaging closely with technical experts, program managers, proposal managers, and business development teams to address customer requirements in complex environments.
  • At least 3 years of experience in crafting successful technical solutions for large-scale, complex proposals for government clients.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working with U.S. Government agencies, including Space Force, Air Force, NRO, or Mission Space customers.
  • Possession of an active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise across a wide range of mission-focused and technology services, coupled with a strong customer-centric approach and understanding of the Mission Space and Intelligence community.
  • Comprehension of operational environments and the ability to position the organization to deliver comprehensive mission value to program sponsors.
  • Understanding of the distinct needs of enterprise support versus mission support.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the benefits of our approach to various levels of seniority within sponsor teams.
  • Willingness to be present at company locations during standard business hours, as needed, to support classified proposal deliverables.

Preferred:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business, computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, information technology, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively at senior and executive management levels.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate and synthesize multiple inputs into a winning technical solution.
  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • A well-established network within the Space industry, including government, OEMs, and businesses of all sizes.
  • Capability to translate innovation and R&D into distinct solutions for clients in collaboration with technology leadership.
  • Proximity to the office locations to facilitate on-site proposal deliverables.

Salary Range$146,000 - $234,000. This range reflects the typical salary for this position based on experience and other relevant factors.
