Job Summary

The Business Development Representative (BDR) position is a vital role within Teslar Software. As a BDR, you will be responsible for qualifying leads for our sales force and generating qualified leads through outbound efforts. You will work closely with our Account Executives to identify and develop new business prospects from company-provided prospect lists and individual research.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and Qualifying Leads: Identify and qualify new business prospects through research and outreach efforts.
  • Generating Qualified Leads: Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions to uncover opportunities and needs for new software solutions.
  • Transitioning Leads to Account Executives: Work closely with our Account Executives to secure appointments and close deals.
  • Data Entry and Sales Reporting: Provide accurate data entry and sales reporting within our CRM system.
  • Meeting Sales Targets: Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets and goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to listen and identify prospect's needs and opportunities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word) and a strong understanding of banking terms and processes.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with an attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and simultaneous relationships.
  • Previous Sales Experience: 1-2 years of banking experience and previous sales experience preferred.
