Sodexo is in search of a Culinary Operations Manager to lead a dedicated team at a healthcare facility. This role involves managing a group of approximately 40 culinary staff responsible for preparing meals for patients and overseeing cafeteria services. The Culinary Operations Manager will be an integral part of the management team, reporting directly to the General Manager. The typical work schedule for this position is from early morning to early afternoon, Monday through Friday.


The healthcare facility is a comprehensive, acute care institution with a significant number of beds and multiple satellite locations, providing a wide range of patient and family-centered clinical services to the community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and standardize culinary systems and protocols for the facility.

• Maintain comprehensive food safety and health logs in accordance with company and facility standards.

• Ensure that all training programs for culinary staff are current and relevant, covering both company and facility-specific requirements.

• Introduce innovative and contemporary ideas in food service, catering, and patient dining experiences.

• Foster strong interpersonal relationships with patients, customers, and stakeholders within the facility.

• A robust culinary background, including experience in menu development and a passion for contemporary culinary trends.

• A solid foundation in food production, ideally within upscale dining, catering, or institutional settings.

• Proven experience in leading and motivating a culinary team.

• Certification in food safety, along with a working knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience with audits.

• Familiarity with company processes and systems is preferred but not mandatory.
