Position Overview

As a vital member of our culinary team, the Culinary Operations Assistant will report directly to the Back-of-House Supervisor. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation and Cleanliness: Operate industrial-grade dishwashing equipment to maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen utensils and equipment. Manually wash pots, pans, and cast-iron dishes as necessary.
  • Waste Management: Monitor and appropriately dispose of trash, recycling, and compost materials in designated areas.
  • Food Preparation: Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including cutting, mixing, peeling, and assembly.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, organize, and rotate inventory to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Workplace Safety: Ensure all equipment and work areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Guest Area Maintenance: Help maintain cleanliness in guest-facing areas, including floors, walls, restrooms, and windows.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to health and safety standards.
Qualifications
