Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Trinity Health. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a vital role in providing patient care and assisting anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists in various specialized and complex anesthesia procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist anesthesia professional staff in the pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative areas for the delivery of safe, efficient, and cost-effective anesthesia care.
  • Maintain the availability of necessary equipment in each operating room and prepare and assemble transducer lines and equipment as necessary.
  • Perform all job duties of an anesthesia technician, including stocking operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies, cleaning anesthesia equipment, and maintaining a safe and secure sharps disposal system.
  • Perform Pyxis Anesthesia Medication Refill, including filling medications for use by patients, reviewing computer reports to determine appropriate medication levels, and returning unused medications to storage.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a fast-paced clinical setting required.
  • Prior experience as an Anesthesia Technician or a current Anesthesia Tech student preferred.
  • Annual BLS certification required.
  • Certification by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians is desired.
