Trinity Health is seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team. As an integral member of the anesthesia patient care team, you will assist anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists in various specialized and complex invasive and non-invasive anesthesia procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Assist anesthesia professional staff as requested, anticipating the need for invasive procedures according to the daily OR schedule.
- Provide technical support to the anesthesia professional staff in the pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative areas for the delivery of safe, efficient, and cost-effective anesthesia care.
- Maintain the availability of necessary equipment in each operating room, preparing and assembling transducer lines and equipment as necessary.
- Maintain and organize the anesthesia environment, equipment, and supplies to facilitate departmental functioning.
- Perform all job duties of an anesthesia technician I, including stocking operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies, cleaning anesthesia equipment, and performing Pyxis Anesthesia Medication Refill.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a fast-paced clinical setting required.
- Prior experience as an Anesthesia Technician or a current Anesthesia Tech student preferred.
- Annual BLS certification required.
- Certification by the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians is desired.
