We are seeking a skilled Government Refund Specialist to join our team at Virtual Employee. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for applying funds to solicited refund requests and performing research to resolve open check inventory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research in the claims system, image system, and financial reporting to ensure funds are available for application and clearance.
  • Perform manual adjustments to solicited and unsolicited refund requests as necessary, based on written correspondence received in the recovery process.
  • Collaborate with providers and members to research and resolve outstanding account balances.
  • Participate in special projects, reconciliations, research, and analysis as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business and 2 years of accounting experience, or 6 years of accounting experience.
