The Houseman is responsible for ensuring that all housekeeping carts are adequately stocked with necessary supplies and maintaining the inventory of linens and other housekeeping materials. This role involves the removal of soiled linens, supporting the housekeeping team, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and stock all housekeeping carts before the arrival of room attendants.
- Gather and dispose of soiled linens from guest accommodations.
- Clear trash collected by room attendants from guest areas.
- Retrieve clean linens and replenish the par stock of linens on each floor.
- Restock guest room amenities and supplies throughout the hotel.
- Assist room attendants with the setup of roll-away beds and other needs.
- Respond promptly and courteously to all guest inquiries and requests.
- Participate in the deep cleaning of guest rooms as required.
- Deliver towels and other supplies to room attendants when necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Ability to stock housekeeping carts efficiently.
- Experience in collecting soiled linens from guest rooms.
- Skills in waste management and cleanliness.
- Knowledge of linen inventory management.
- Capability to assist with guest room amenities and supplies.
- Strong communication skills for guest interaction.
- Willingness to assist with deep cleaning tasks.
- Flexibility to deliver supplies as needed.
