Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Support Staff - CMA to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in maintaining patient safety and delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide constant observation of patients and notify nursing personnel of any changes in behavior or status.
  • Intervene as needed to maintain patient safety and perform all functions delegated by the nurse staff.
  • Support the plan of care as delegated by staff nurse within scope of skills verification.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the patient care area.
Requirements
  • Preferred: Hospital and telemetry experience.
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including 24/7, weekends, and holidays.
