Position Overview:

In the role of Consultant Project Manager at SDI Presence, you will take charge of overseeing and directing technology and security projects specifically for a public safety organization. You will collaborate closely with the technology teams within the agency to ensure the successful execution of projects. This role demands exceptional project management capabilities and a commitment to adhering to both company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of installation and implementation projects from inception to completion
  • Assess project requirements and provide cost estimations
  • Organize project timelines and manage available resources
  • Work in conjunction with subcontractors and remote personnel
  • Guarantee adherence to project standards and regulatory requirements
  • Compile reports and facilitate meetings to discuss project progress
  • Identify and address project-related challenges
  • Manage potential risks and conduct risk assessment sessions as necessary
  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance with client specifications
  • Implement Change Management and Quality Assurance protocols

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Current PMP certification
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management
  • Background in IT and security project oversight
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience with change management processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of CA-PMF standards
  • Experience in public safety sectors
  • Familiarity with law enforcement communication systems
  • Understanding of Computer Aided Dispatch and mobile applications
  • Experience with audio recording and emergency response systems
  • Strong communication skills for project deliverables
