About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Operations Director to lead our restaurant operations in the Minneapolis/St Paul International Airport. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and excellence in our airport locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Review and analyze staffing and budget guidelines to ensure alignment with annual financial statements.
  • Represent the company in public relations activities and serve as a corporate representative as needed.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure high-quality storefronts and timely store openings.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Operations to resolve design issues and ensure compliance with airport authority and management companies design criteria.
  • Assist location operators in executing day-to-day operations and provide guidance on business strategy.
  • Interface with various business units, including Legal, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, Business Development, Finance, and others.
  • Develop and maintain an effective organization through personnel selection, training, compensation, motivation, termination, and evaluation.
  • Provide guidance and direction to management employees to assist in their professional development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations of General Managers under your supervision.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or a related field; Master's degree a plus.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in upper management of food, beverage, and retail operations handling multiple locations; equivalent experience in lieu of a degree considered.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and diverse populations.
  • Technical skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other associated software.
  • Excellent strategic management skills, including budget and business analysis, market and risk analysis, time management, organization, planning, and project management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including guest relations, diplomacy, and professionalism.
