With over five decades of experience in the nuclear sector, Aecon has built a reputation for reliability, safety, and performance, making us a preferred contractor. Our comprehensive services cater to numerous projects, from plant modifications to long-term maintenance contracts for nuclear facilities, including design-build ISFSI, reactor overhauls, and large component replacements for plant life extension.

A Shipping and Receiving Coordinator oversees the dispatch and reception of products, materials, and supplies.

Citizenship Requirement – Applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving: Inspecting incoming packages, verifying orders, and unloading delivery vehicles.
  • Shipping: Preparing items for dispatch, including packing, sealing, labeling, and loading delivery vehicles.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, scanning barcodes, and updating inventory records.
  • Documentation: Creating necessary documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders.
  • Communication: Coordinating with stakeholders involved in the shipping and receiving process, including logistics personnel, customer service representatives, and service providers.
  • Organization: Maintaining a tidy and organized workspace while keeping an accurate log of daily activities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field, not limited to shipping and receiving.
  • Proficient in SAP for goods receipt processing and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Outlook.
  • Basic computer skills are essential, including file management, spreadsheet creation, email communication, and presentation development.
  • Certifications for warehouse forklift, off-road forklift, and lull will be obtained for this position.
