Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit compliant responses to RFQs and ITBs within specified timelines.
  • Assist with qualification and information requests, including basic company details, proposal forms, resumes, or project information.
  • Support Iron Mountain's unsolicited proposal process, including document preparation and submission into the company’s contract management system.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to verify customer requirements with technical experts.
  • Enter opportunities into the contract management system promptly upon receipt of request forms.
  • Coordinate resource availability with the Proposal Team Manager and track assignments using proposal tracking tools.
  • Facilitate access to proposal areas, collaboration tools, and content libraries.
  • Maintain a database of customer portal log-in information and proposal tracking resources.
  • Assist in the upkeep of core proposal resources.

Key Skills, Requirements, and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Adobe Professional, and preferably the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and effective time management.
  • Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
  • Familiarity with industry proposal best practices in government contracting (e.g., Shipley or APMP).
  • Understanding of the government acquisition process and related regulations.
  • Experience with Responsive (formerly RFPIO) or similar proposal automation software.
  • Ability to work independently.
