Your Role:

We are seeking a highly qualified and licensed professional to become a key player in our expanding team of real estate experts at our corporate headquarters. The successful candidate will work closely with the Leadership team, significantly contributing to the growth of local assets under management (AUM).

This position entails assessing and understanding various real estate investments, whether multifamily or commercial. You will aim to become a market authority, knowledgeable about all factors influencing value changes. Effectively communicating this expertise to investors and stakeholders is essential. Strong financial and business insight is necessary for discussing investments based on return metrics, asset valuation, preservation, revenue generation, and risk management—adopting a mindset akin to that of an asset manager.

This role is dynamic and not confined to a desk; while mentoring and inspiring your team will require some desk time, you will lead by example, actively engaging with the community as a real estate authority. This includes attending and presenting at local events, diligently expanding your AUM through extensive networking and outreach. Business development should be a natural inclination, requiring high energy and a focused commitment to consistently enhance AUM.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Demonstrated success in revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Three (3) years of consultative sales experience in commercial real estate, property management, or managed services preferred.
  • Well-developed prospecting techniques and strategic selling abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Proven experience in closing sales of complex systems or services with extended sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and the ability to learn proprietary tools and technologies.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently to achieve goals.
  • Experience with AppFolio preferred.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Proven track record in Business Development.

  • Identify, add, and monitor qualified prospects within the Sales and Property Management Service Pipelines.
  • Assist in developing and refining the Lead Generation funnel to drive AUM and meet company goals.
  • Identify new Lead Generation opportunities to enhance AUM in the market.
  • Engage in prospecting and cold calling to generate qualified leads.
  • Create and deliver presentations to prospective clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contract terms with prospective clients to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Gather valuable insights from customer and competitor data.
  • Collaborate effectively across multiple departments and with your internal team.
  • Act with urgency, professionalism, and uphold high ethical standards.
  • Ensure effective communication with property owners and investors.
  • Make decisions in the best interest of owners and investors while adhering to company guidelines.
