We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager, People Programs to join our team at REI Recreation Equipment, Inc. Key Responsibilities- Design and Implement Effective Talent Management Initiatives: Employ an experience design mindset to create and implement effective talent management initiatives that achieve strategic business objectives.
- Apply Human-Centered Design Principles: Understand and apply the underlying principles of Human-Centered Design (Design Thinking) to create end-user centered solutions that meet the needs of our employees and drive business results.
- Streamline User Experience: Support the streamlined user experience of key people processes, including identifying and operationalizing opportunities for process improvement and evolution.
- Develop Process Improvement Mechanisms: Create process improvement mechanisms, including automation, to ensure standardization and ease of use.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence, Employee Relations, Legal, and business leaders to facilitate organizational changes and respond to employee feedback on people processes.
- Embed Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Principles: Embed principles of Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion into program design and delivery.
- Manage Experience Design Portfolio: Collaborate across the People Programs team to implement consistent brand look and feel while designing and delivering multi-modality assets as part of the management of a larger experience design portfolio.
- Evaluate People Programming Solutions: Evaluate people programming solutions based on a balanced mix of desirable solutions that are feasible and viable to the business.
- Understand Business and Marketplace: Understand the co-op's business and the marketplace to ensure connection of people programs to business outcomes and the co-op's external and internal branding.
- Think Creatively: Think creatively by looking outside of the HR division to learn leading-edge design practices both within the co-op and other organizations.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and at least 5+ years' experience. Masters in HR/Industrial Psychology is ideal.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital authoring tools, including Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, etc.
- Graphic Design Background: Background in graphic design across various platforms.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to various digital mediums, including video, social media, and audio.
- Inclusive Design: Understands and can counsel on the principles of inclusive design.
- Data Analysis: Data analysis skills to leverage quantitative and qualitative data to enable informed decision making.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to build strong working relationships and work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
- Project Management: Skilled at consulting with a wide variety of partner types and navigating uncharted territory.
- Knowledge of Talent Management Programs: Knowledge of core Talent Management programs including performance management, promotions, succession, Career Development, Mobility, and Learning.
- Proactivity and Self-Directedness: Proactive and self-directed with ability to manage/complete multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Microsoft Office Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
