About the Role

As the Director of Global Procurement Strategy for Paper and Printed Materials at SC Johnson, you will be responsible for developing and leading a global procurement strategy that drives cost improvements, innovations, and sustainability goals. You will manage a global procurement portfolio with technical and supply complexity, and oversee a category spend of approximately $400 to $500 million.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a global procurement strategy for paper and printed materials from end-to-end, including supplier selection and contract negotiation.
  • Drive continuous improvements resulting in elimination of portfolio complexity and redundancy, product innovation, sustainability, speed-to-market, and supply assurance.
  • Partner with key cross-functional teams to align on long-term strategies that deliver business growth through innovation and Delivered Profit Margin optimization.
  • Demonstrate current knowledge of global/regional supply markets and commodity trends to communicate forecasts and market dynamics to key internal stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage projects such as commodity harmonization, standardization programs, specification optimization, complexity reduction, new product launches, etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering/Business/Finance or related degree.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience within Supply Chain, Finance, RDE, and/or Procurement.
  • People management experience.
  • Strong financial acumen and influencing skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interface with multiple levels of both internal and external organizations.
  • Knowledgeable in current and future policies, trends, tech, and information impacting the business and organization.
Preferred Experiences and Skills
  • 5+ years of CPG industry experience.
  • Project Management - Ability to develop and drive an agenda of sustainable changes to the organization.
  • Constructs compelling development plans, executes them, and encourages people to take roles which expand their career development.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze all types of data and present results effectively.
