About the Role

As the Director of Global Procurement Strategy for Paper and Printed Materials at S C Johnson & Son Inc, you will be responsible for managing a global procurement strategy for paper and printed materials with technical and supply complexity. You will use your skills to develop and lead strategic alliances with suppliers to assure supply continuity and deliver on cost improvements, innovations, and sustainability goals while managing potential risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the global strategy for global paper and printed materials from end-to-end, from baseline measurements and cost modeling to supplier selection and contract negotiation.
  • Drive continuous improvements resulting in elimination of portfolio complexity and redundancy, product innovation, sustainability, speed-to-market, and supply assurance.
  • Partner with key cross-functional teams to align on long-term strategies that deliver business growth through innovation and Delivered Profit Margin optimization.
  • Demonstrate current knowledge of global/regional supply markets and commodity trends to communicate forecasts and market dynamics to key internal stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage projects such as commodity harmonization, standardization programs, specification optimization, complexity reduction, new product launches, etc.
  • Support organizational strategies for e-commerce, sustainability initiatives, and more to ensure leadership through consumer-packaged goods trends.
  • Lead and develop internal teams to drive results on all procurement initiatives.
  • Develop Should Cost Models, Clean Sheet, TCO, Supply and Demand Analysis to drive global strategy, supplier selections, and Delivered Profit margin improvement.
