Role Summary:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to enhance our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills while managing the preparation, packaging, and dispatch of products in line with company protocols. This full-time position operates on the first shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and package products for shipment in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders.
  • Manage shipping logistics with carriers, including UPS and FedEx.
  • Schedule transportation via LTL and PLS services.
  • Handle international shipping tasks as required.
  • Utilize computer systems effectively, including ERP software.
  • Track and resolve any shipping discrepancies or issues.
  • Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in shipping and logistics.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and ability to maintain professional relationships with customers and team members.
  • Capability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate a warehouse environment.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for office machinery operation.
  • Effective auditory and visual communication skills.
