  • Commission HIL systems to ensure full functionality meets BMS requirements.
  • Develop, implement, validate, and document test scripts, automation processes, and user interfaces for HIL systems.
  • Maintain HIL system operations with updates to interface models, hardware, user interfaces, and automation as necessary.
  • Lead investigations and resolve any HIL-related issues promptly.
  • Provide training and support to HIL users and stakeholders regarding HIL-related tasks.

Qualifications...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing or testing automotive embedded control systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience in MATLAB and Simulink model development.

  • Advanced proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink modeling and simulation of control systems is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with Python or similar programming languages is advantageous.
  • Experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS) is preferred.
  • Background in developing hardware-in-the-loop systems using OPAL, dSPACE, or similar platforms is highly desired.
  • Experience in creating and executing test plans, scripts, and automation, along with generating test reports, is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
