Occupational Health Services Specialist

Butterball, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our health and safety team, you will be responsible for providing professional medical care to associates, conducting screenings, promoting wellness, and performing assigned safety and health functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote and schedule wellness activities among associates to foster a healthy work environment.
- Treat associates for injuries/incidents, assist in trend analysis, and monitor work-related injuries.
- Track Management Accountability Program and contact company physicians when necessary.
- Assist with new hire orientation, conduct new hire checks daily, and administer RTW program.
- Conduct Drug and Alcohol tests, schedule HazMat physicals, and maintain SDS books.
- Participate in Health Fairs, Shift Safety meetings, and support Safety & Health goals.
- EMT Certification and working knowledge of medical equipment.
- Clerical and computer skills, including SAP, AS400, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attendance and personnel record, with excellent time management, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated team player with a strong commitment to health and safety.
- Frequent time in cold and wet industrial environments required.
- May require long periods of time on feet, walking, and standing.
- Must be able to read reports, evaluate data, and use computer.
- Some long hours and weekend work may be required.
