Transforming Cancer Care

Join us in redefining the landscape of cancer treatment within a community that prioritizes integrity, fosters growth, and is strategically positioned to innovate a more interconnected oncology ecosystem.

Your Role

We are seeking a Senior Research Scientist to play a pivotal role in our mission to enhance lives by leveraging insights from the experiences of cancer patients. Are you prepared to be a key player in advancing cancer care?

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a principal investigator on client-oriented real-world evidence (RWE) projects, responsible for the design, analytical specifications, execution, and reporting of oncology studies.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to develop proposals for RWE data, analytics, and consulting solutions tailored to customer needs throughout the oncology product lifecycle.
  • Engage with clients to cultivate interest and support for study concepts by showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the scientific context surrounding their assets, real-world data, and epidemiological methodologies.
  • Provide scientific leadership to study teams, ensuring the production of high-quality protocols and statistical analysis plans, while guaranteeing the accurate execution of analyses and the delivery of valid results.
  • Oversee project scope, identifying opportunities for expansion and the necessity for amendments or additional funding to fulfill extra research objectives requested by clients.
  • Encourage repeat business with external partners by nurturing a collaborative research environment and successfully delivering scientifically robust study materials.

Who You Are

You are a compassionate, driven, and collaborative problem-solver who embraces the chance to think creatively. You possess strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities, with experience or interest in designing studies and analyzing real-world data, such as healthcare claims or electronic health records. You are eager to engage in meaningful challenges daily.

You hold a Master’s degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Health Policy, or a closely related field, with 7-8 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 4-5 years of pertinent experience.

You have a profound understanding of observational data and a proven track record of applying epidemiological approaches to challenges in public health or the pharmaceutical sector.

You excel in communication, with experience in drafting complex technical documentation and delivering presentations to scientific audiences.

You are adept at building and maintaining client relationships and are comfortable programming in R for exploratory analysis and basic data cleaning, or another programming language, with a commitment to enhancing your R skills.

You possess strong organizational, time-management, prioritization, and decision-making abilities essential for evaluating, planning, and executing multiple high-visibility projects efficiently.

You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and diverse environment, demonstrating agility and the ability to navigate challenges without having every detail in place.

You are passionate about our mission to advance healthcare through technology and can convey complex information clearly and concisely to clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consulting within the healthcare sector.
  • Background in oncology.
  • Familiarity with EHR-derived real-world data and/or claims data.
