Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Neurologist to join our clinical research team as a part-time Principal Investigator. This role will provide leadership and support for the development and execution of neurology clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical expertise in the conduct of neurology clinical trials, ensuring high-quality results and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, and Patient Engagement, to drive clinical trial success.
- Oversee a team of researchers and clinical staff involved in conducting clinical trials, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Evaluate study volunteers' eligibility for clinical trials, ensuring accurate and timely assessments.
- Review diagnostic reports and provide clinical direction to the clinical trials team, ensuring accurate and timely decision-making.
- Board Certified Neurologist with a strong background in clinical research and treatment.
- Active license to practice medicine in North Carolina with no history of license suspension or debarment.
- Advanced knowledge of treatment and drug interactions, with a strong understanding of clinical research principles.
- Clinical research experience preferred, but not required.
- Flexible compensation package based on the candidate's requirements.
- Hours must be worked onsite during normal operating hours, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
