Position Overview:

The selected candidate will join a dynamic research team focused on advancing scientific knowledge within the field of Biological Sciences. This role emphasizes independent research development under the mentorship of the Principal Investigator (PI) and collaboration with laboratory partners.

Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will engage in:

  • Conducting innovative research and participating in laboratory and field activities.
  • Mentoring and guiding trainees in research methodologies.
  • Publishing research findings in reputable scientific journals.
  • Collaborating with community partners for participatory research initiatives.
  • Preparing grant applications to secure funding for ongoing research projects.
Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A PhD in a relevant field with 0-5 years of postdoctoral experience.
  • Expertise in molecular toxicology and in vivo rodent models.
  • Familiarity with analytical techniques, including high-resolution mass spectrometry.
  • Proficiency in biostatistical software (e.g., R or Python) and machine learning applications.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with study participants and stakeholders.
Preferred Experience:

Experience in environmental health science, toxicology, and community engagement is highly desirable.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $60,000.
