Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct large and small animal studies investigating a new pulsed electric field cancer therapy
  • Administer treatments via an ultrasound-guided approach, conduct necropsies, and analyze data
  • Assist with other experiments in the laboratory using in vitro and small animal models to investigate the effects of pulsed electric fields on biological tissues
  • Conduct large animal safety, reproducibility, and efficacy studies
  • Evaluate CT and histological data
  • Participate in lab meetings and journal club
  • Prepare manuscripts and grants

Requirements

  • Ph.D. with experience in pulsed electric field technologies
  • Biological wet lab skills
  • Small animal handling skills
  • Writing manuscripts and grants

Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic research environment with a team of scientists and engineers. The position requires a valid NC driver's license and the ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory setting.
