This role involves supervising and coordinating the work of assigned staff, ensuring compliance with business licensing regulations, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of assigned staff, including revenue and compliance, and special activity events.
- Ensure compliance with business licensing regulations, laws, and policies.
- Develop and implement goals, objectives, and procedures for providing business licenses and special activity permits.
- Collect, evaluate, and interpret varied information, data, and reports.
- Represent the City to outside individuals and agencies to accomplish the goals and objectives of the unit.
Requirements:
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent supplemented by specialized administrative or office management training.
- Five years of responsible business code compliance, auditing, and inspection experience.
- Valid driver's license or ability to independently get to and from multiple work locations.
Working Environment:
The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work in an indoor and outdoor setting, with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. The primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an indoor and outdoor setting, to walk, stand, or sit for prolonged periods of time, and to operate assigned vehicles.
