Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct communication with leadership and effectively utilize nursing personnel, time, and equipment on the unit.
- Assess and monitor quality performance measures and ensure program compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Assist with staff education, employee evaluations, performance improvement initiatives, and the progressive discipline process.
- May perform direct patient care within scope of practice and clinical competency to ensure patient safety and patient/nurse ratios.
Requirements:
- Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Nevada.
- Minimum of two years leadership experience with Behavioral Health Care programs.
- Working knowledge of mental health laws, practice standards, and continuum of care for behavioral health treatment.
- BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
- Crisis Intervention training within 90 days of hire and annually thereafter.
