**Job Summary**

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a highly motivated and experienced **General Manager Trainee** to join our team. As a **General Manager Trainee**, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of sales associates, and driving sales growth in our store.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide **GAS3** selling experience for DIY and professional customers
  • Lead and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and service objectives
  • Manage **DIY services**, including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and resolve any complaints in a timely manner
  • Understand the levers to impact the store's profit and loss statement
  • Manage on-duty responsibilities, including coaching, issue resolution, and floor management
  • Assist in backing up operations of the commercial delivery program

**Requirements**

  • 2-3 years of experience managing a team of 10-20 sales associates in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Successful experience managing profitability and proven financial and business acumen
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), Bachelor's degree in business or a related area preferred
  • ASE certification preferred, but not required
