POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Operations Leader is chiefly responsible for fostering a customer-centric and product-oriented sales culture where our core values and guiding principles are integral to all store functions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Performance Management: Analyzes sales data and key performance indicators to identify business needs; implements in-store sales strategies effectively.

Sets and communicates clear expectations, holding the store team accountable for meeting brand standards and performance metrics.
Manages payroll and supply budgets efficiently.

Oversees essential operational tasks such as scheduling, conducting shrink audits, managing physical inventory, and ensuring payroll accuracy.

Supervises all financial operations in line with company policy, including cash handling, price adjustments, and merchandise management; trains and guides associates to ensure accurate transaction processing.

Ensures adherence to legal regulations, loss prevention policies, and operational procedures; conducts training to reinforce compliance.

Manages all operational processes including inventory receipt and dispatch, daily merchandise replenishment, and physical inventory preparations.

Ensures visual merchandising and store maintenance reflect the brand's image.
Fosters a high-performance culture, motivating the sales team to achieve sales and productivity targets.
Trains and develops the management team on business strategies to enhance overall performance.
Provides training and coaching to ensure the sales team possesses comprehensive product knowledge both online and in-store.

Team Development: Inspires and motivates the store team, creating a shared vision while exemplifying core values.
Encourages a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Engages with store teams and acts as a liaison to field leadership and cross-functional partners to drive positive change.

Customer Engagement: Models, teaches, and promotes exceptional customer service standards, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.

Ensures the team maintains consistent communication with clients through customer engagement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent
3+ years of retail management experience required
Must be 18 years of age or older
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven customer service excellence with a strong track record in sales and leadership
Able to adapt to technology provided by the company
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Established history in recruiting and retaining quality staff
General knowledge of apparel products (i.e., fit and fabric)
Excellent leadership qualities, training, and team-building skills
Knowledge of the administrative aspects of store operations
Able to communicate effectively with customers and staff
Solid evidence of community involvement and outreach. Understands the importance of supporting the community
Regular attendance is essential for meeting company objectives. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Constant walking/standing for a significant portion of the shift
Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of the shift)
Frequent climbing (34%-66% of the shift)
