Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at City Museum. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise food and beverage staff to ensure efficient daily operation, conduct pre and post shift briefings, and initiate and impose disciplinary action as needed.
  • Customer Service: Supervise guest experience to ensure excellent customer service is provided by the food and beverage staff, and assist customers with questions regarding City Museum.
  • Operations and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensure compliance with local Health Department sanitation guidelines and codes, and maintain food and beverage presentation standards.
  • Training and Development: Conduct in-service and ongoing training of employees to ensure optimal customer satisfaction in quality, service, safety, and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age or older, and have experience in department or equivalent supervisory experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively with public, customers, and staff members, work well with others, and demonstrate ability to work independently.
  • Certifications and Training: Record of Hep A vaccine or ability to receive, Food Handler's Safety Card/certification, and ability to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to or in excess of 50 pounds.
