Job ResponsibilitiesThe Inventory Clerk will be responsible for managing the flow of goods and materials within the organization. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all incoming shipments, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Processing receipt documentation in accordance with Purchase Order details, performing a three-way match with packing slips and ERP system data.
- Updating the ERP system with accurate receipt information.
- Collaborating with the Buyer/Planner to address any discrepancies in quantities or damages.
- Labeling and organizing inventory items in designated storage areas.
- Issuing parts for production jobs and managing inventory transactions within the ERP system.
- Conducting daily cycle counts and addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinating shipping needs, including handling Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs).
- Maintaining inventory control supplies and ensuring timely reordering.
- Facilitating communication with external vendors to support manufacturing schedules.
- Processing incoming Discrepant Material Reports (DMRs) and ensuring proper documentation and labeling.
- Assisting Customer Service by managing job openings, part pulls, and kitting items.
- Optimizing storage space by relocating and consolidating inventory as necessary.
- Implementing recommendations for slow-moving or obsolete inventory management.
- Contributing to warehouse improvement initiatives and adhering to safety protocols.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
