Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to join our team at Vertex Aerospace LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for the inventory of property, including verification of IUID and application of 2D labels on property and verifying actual inventory against property listings.

Key Responsibilities:
Ordering and receiving products and supplies
Maintaining the storage of inventory
Overseeing the distribution of products and supplies
Tracking incoming and outgoing products, as well as inventory maintenance
Analyzing inventory data to identify low or excess stock, and to make strategic decisions about inventory management
Providing inventory control reports as needed
Inspecting returned merchandise and stock levels for potential problems
Updating databases with incoming and outgoing products
Making future inventory projections
Finding ways to save money and improve efficiency
Developing protocols to mitigate loss.

Requirements:
Experience providing support for the inventory of property, including verification of IUID and application of 2D labels on property and verifying actual inventory against property listings.
Experience performing joint Government and contractor (outgoing and incoming) inventory of support equipment including spares, Tools and Test Equipment (TTE), documentation, software, hardware, and other Government Furnished Property (GFP), including conducting TADSS and GFP Functional Verification Inspections (FVI), as applicable.
Experience with MAXIMO, InSite or SAP systems is a plus.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Advanced data analysis skills.
Good understanding of supply chain processes.
Ability to work in a warehouse setting.
