Job Summary

The Vertex Company is seeking a highly skilled Material Control Coordinator to oversee the receipt of materials, verify quantities, and enter data into inventory management systems. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Allocate and organize storage space to maximize warehouse efficiency
  • Determine the appropriate locations for materials based on size, frequency of use, and compatibility
  • Verify storage facilities comply with safety regulations and specific storage requirements
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring materials are stored to prevent damage or deterioration
  • Pick materials/kits from storage areas to fulfill orders
  • Package materials/kits for shipment or transfer to protect equipment during transit
  • Label packages accurately with necessary information, including product identification, quantity, batch numbers, and safety warnings
  • Responsible for physical inventory reconciliation

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management or a related field
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • NACI Background Check
