We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Fire Alarm Technician to assist our lead Alarm & Detection Technician in providing reliable, high-quality customer support through on-site inspecting, installing, repairing, and replacing fire alarm equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a professional image, and the ability to learn all aspects of a project from install to programming.
Essential FunctionsThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting and training in fire alarm installations
- Fire alarm system troubleshooting techniques
- Analysis of blueprints
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Desire a career in fire protection
- Hold a High School diploma or equivalent
- Complete the NICET level 1 exam within the first year of employment
- Have experience with technology such as iPad, smartphone, etc.
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Have a clean appearance and reliable transportation
- Be willing to pass a post-offer drug screen, background, and reference check
The successful candidate must be able to:
- Lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Regularly bend, reach, climb, and walk
