Job Title: Fire Alarm Project Manager

Delta Fire Systems is a leading provider of life safety systems, and we are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Project Manager to join our team. As a Fire Alarm Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing fire alarm systems for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review construction contract documents and coordinate with sub-contractors and General Contractor/owner to gather required information to design the project's sprinkler system
  • Determine construction feasibility and systems possibilities through analytical thinking and problem-solving
  • Create detailed drawings through extensive use of AutoCAD and AlarmCAD
  • Develop initial schedules for preliminary project work and maintain design historical records
  • Develop positive and ongoing relationships with customers to ensure company is meeting customers' expectations
  • Coordinate with other departments within the office to ensure proper handover of job information
  • Conduct long-range project planning and scheduling, and monitor and manage projects to comply with safety, quality, productivity, and profitability requirements
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability with AutoCAD, AlarmCAD or other specialized fire alarm layout software
  • Proven ability and track record of performing work in a timely manner and meeting deadlines
  • Supervisory experience is a plus
  • Three years' experience in commercial, industrial, and residential design is preferred
  • Must be detail-oriented and skilled in free hand and mechanical lettering and drawings
  • Willing to coordinate and work well with others
  • Excellent communication skills-written and verbal
  • Ability to regularly travel overnight, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willing to pass a post-offer drug test, background, and reference check
